Summer has finally arrived in Georgia, and it’s an ideal time to visit Needham Park!
While the weather is heating up, Needham’s trees provide plenty of shade cover for a relaxing picnic or stroll beside the stream. And with plenty of room to spare, you can enjoy Needham’s local beauty while maintaining social distance.
In times like this, the small things can mean so much. Nearly two years ago, the Friends held our first neighborhood cleanup of the park and planted flowers at the park end of the Needham bridge. We are happy to see that the flowers are thriving—and joyous that our work has made Needham just a little more beautiful.
If you’re walking through the neighborhood or just looking for something to do, please consider stopping by Needham Park. Let’s show the our neighborhood greenspace some love!
