The Friends are excited to announce that we are joining our friends at Market 909 and Corinth Baptist Church to co-host the Scottdale Shindig on Saturday, July 23! Please join us for a day of shopping local wares, enjoying lunch in a local park, and cooling off with some ice cream. And be on the lookout for a photo booth and community yard sales!

Picnic in the Park

Starting at 11:30am, stop by Needham Park to grab a (free!) hot dog, chips, and bottle of water (while supplies last). You can join your neighbors at the park’s picnic table — thought you may wish to bring a picnic blanket or chairs to ensure you have a comfortable place to sit and relax!

Getting to the park

We encourage you to walk or bike to the park, if you are able to do so. Parking is available at nearby Corinth Baptist Church — just at the corner of McLendon and Ponce!
